Target currently has a promotion for a "free" $15 Target giftcard when you buy $50+ of "
Household Essentials [target.com]" (also $20 off $75+) ...which means TP prices hit the sweet spot if you're stocking up. (Note: you're subject to local supply-on-hand, it seems.)
Now, I'm not TofuVic, but I did study under him at prestigious TP U. (It's funny every. single. time.) I did the math on a couple options he would approve of (AKA: better than costco sale price of $0.00253/sheet, or 394 sheets/dollar) assuming the gc is as good as a rebate. (And as always, RedCard holders can score another 5% off.)
- Charmin Ultra Strong "Mega" rolls [target.com] (286 sheets/roll)
- 3x 18-rolls @ $17.89 = $38.67 AR (399 sh/$)
- 24-rolls+30-rolls @ $23.99+29.99 = $38.98 AR (396 sh/$)
- Charmin Ultra Strong "Super Mega" rolls [target.com] (426 sheets/roll)
- 3x 12-rolls @ $17.89 = $38.67 AR (397 sh/$)
$15 gift card when you spend $50 in store with coupon or online or $20 gift card when you spend $75 online only on select household essentials. Offer valid using in store Order Pickup, Drive Up or Same Day Delivery Shopped by Shipt. Not valid on orders using Ship to Store or on previous orders. Not all delivery methods may be available. Your gift card will be shipped to you after you have picked up your qualifying order.
Includes: Laundry care, household paper products, household cleaning & tools, dish care, disposable food storage, trash bags, air fresheners, and pest control.

I usually run the numbers for Ultra Soft too... but they're usually almost identical, so since I'm feeling lazy, hopefully someone else will verify?

Your calculation indicates 36 rolls when in fact it should be 54 rolls and that will bring the rating up to an 'A' deal grade

I received a coupon in the mail for free $25 gc with $75 household essentials purchase.
My question is could I get 6x of the 18 roll packs for $77.34, use my coupon and get a $20 gc and $25 gc?

If you use your coupon and your order total is below $75 then you won't be eligible for the $20 gc but would be eligible for the $15 gc assuming your total is still above $50. When you go to checkout it will tell you what gc you are getting

18 x 3 = 54
