Needed a set of kitchen knives and found the Wüsthof Gourmet 12-Piece on sale to $99 down from $250 at Cabela's online. Had some Cabela's points so picked up this set for practically nothing.
please note this is the lower model "gourmet" not the "classic" so they are stamped, not forged which may be a turnoff to some but better for those who prefer lighter knives who cook a ton. they are made from the same high quality German steel and function is the same. The higher end "classics" are heavier, handle is made up of some kind of blend instead of the plastic on these but those also come with a $600 price tag.
take a look at the prices for these gourmet knives elsewhere or individually. at $99 this is a steal if you don't want to keep replacing faberware with more faberware. can't post photo from phone so will update later.

I need a new set of knives but have been putting it off for a long time.
No purchase necessary. Says so right in the description of the knives on the page.

I replaced a set of stainless Chicago set I had with faberwhere which I'm now replacing with these. Everything rusts and I dishwash everything but I have a chef friend who swears by this brand and uses a mix of the classics, Grand Prix II and these gourmet. From my research I've read great things about them.

Thank you! Just placed my order.
Don't dishwash any knives you care about

all steel knives will rust, these included. I read these are dishwasher safe but hand washing is always recommended by the manufacturer obviously. The better you take care if them the longer they will last. That goes for everything.
