This is my first time posting, so let me know if I made any errors.
I found this on amazon today. Amazon is running a $15 off $75 on certain Bosch 12v tools. This is a great deal for those who need a companion impact driver for the 12v Bosch Multi-Head Drill (FlexiClick). This is the lowest price I've seen for this kit (12v Max Brushed Impact Driver, 2 Batteries, Charger, and Case).

Also for $20 more ($84 Total) you can get the drill with it... Great deal, but if you already have the FlexiClick it might be redundant.

I used the Bosch to install windows and doors with a good bit of cabinetry, woodwork and all other type project thrown in. For all that it was the ideal tool and just as you say gave great control and feel. When using my 18 and 20 volt drivers with higher rpm and torque I would often pull or move a product or component more than need be and it would take some forward and reverse to tweak stuff to my liking. The Bosch had the perfect speed and torque for about 90% of what I was doing in home improvement. It was even up to the task of driving some three inch deck and sheetrock when need be. Not ideal if you are doing decks and such but I found it to be my primary driver and the 18 and 20 volts were the supplemental or incidental tool.
For a homeowner or even many contractors I'd say get the Bosch that will cover just about everything and do it better with more control and less strain and fatigue and then pick up a cheaper more powerful driver for the times that more power speed and torque is needed.
BTW they have small belt holsters that fit this driver well. Some of my work pants I could even pocket it.

Yes.
If there is any hesitation, get rid of it. By far one of the best tools out there for a home DIYer.
I have the 10V and 12V sets, and they are buy far the most frequently used around the house. They are not as powerful as a 20V Dewalt or 18V Milwaukee, but they are really well made.
The best thing about them - BALANCE. they are really well balanced. Dont hurt your wrist even after prolonged us.
I recently bought the dual set from Amazon for less than $80 and loved the compact size, but I couldn't justify keeping it when even Bosch advertises they can do 80-90% of what the more powerful ones can do and you can get the more powerful Metabo and Ryobi ones for a similar price. An another thing, these aren't brushless.
No such thing as diy home vs commercial on this one..both use them just when doing large torque applications like hole saws large diameter drill bits or high production use electric or 18 plus volt..
My 10.8 bosch impact finally died (Low power) after 12 years..and the 10.8 and 12v use same chargers.
10.8 would not drive lag screws in a stud.the 12 will but obviously larger than 3/8 or production, go bigger to suppliment.
If i was on budget i would get the combo and buy cheap electric or cheap large voltage drill for heavy needs...but you will use the combo 95% of time around home and application dependent commercial
Not sure that great of deal but typically ok price...look for brushless combos for similiar price at times
I'm in!
