Seems like a good deal for a slightly higher end washer and dryer. I know a lot of people do not like Samsung- but there are others that do not mind. Includes 2 year warranty from Costco + Delivery, Basic Hookup and Haul Away.

This is a great deal. Not sure why the thumbs down.

No one comes close to the quality of Samsung washers/dryers. Gas dryer is the way to go. LNG prices are likely to go to down next couple of years due to over production and inventory, which means appliance prices (which use LNG) are likely to rise as manufacturers want to capitalize on stable to lower LNG prices.

The washer alone is $1079 at Home Depot

in CA, with solar being mandatory now, new homes are now reverting back to putting 220 plug in laundry room as electricity with solar in new homes are cheaper than gas. this wont apply to everybody but just fyi

Very good point. Come to think of it, ALL of need to be shifting to Solar. Its getting much cheaper than other forms of energy.

Samsung is trash for appliances. My Samsung Dryer is only 4 years old and has broken down more than once each year.

Yes I totally agree. My 3 year old dryer broke down 3 different times already. I am exploring right now of getting a different brand.

I've had Samsung washer/dryer for about 3-4 years and no issues at all. We're switching to gas though, so I'm in the market for a new set. If Samsung is no good, what does everyone recommend?

Do not buy Samsung!

Bought a new combo 3 years ago. Washer was recalled! Dryer has broke down 3 times already. 😟

I will never buy another Samsung washer or dryer. My dryer is 3 yrs old and has been repaired multiple times. Barely works and in the market for a new one.

Not sure why. I've had washers, dryers, refrigerators, phones, printers and so forth. Never a problem. GE and Kenmore on the other hand...

Not fond of top loaders anymore since they went to these high efficiency washers that try to wash your clothes with a cup of water. Sweaty and grimy clothes never get cleaned well. I dumped my recent model Samsung top loader and replaced it with a Samsung side loader that works better, but still not as good as my previous 25 year old top loader washer with an agitator. I also have a new Samsung gas dryer that works very well. Pretty happy with both of them right now, but not sure about long term reliability though.

Can anyone confirm if Costco includes the gas disconnection from the old dryer AND the new gas connection to the new gas dryer? Their description states basic installation is included, but then they show a disclaimer on how new charges may be added.

I've never purchased a washer/dryer pair from Costco, so any feedback is much appreciated.

Another question is for a dishwasher. Do they do the basic disconnection and new connection to the new dishwasher, or do they hit you for a service charge for that too.

Thanks in advance!!
