This looks like a great deal for an amazing monitor. I spent a half hour reading the Amazon reviews, which are extremely positive. This can go up to 200hz with display port. Good screen size but not too big. Curved. I play overwatch so the 200hz can be huge. Widescreen seems perfect. Freesync monitor should support nvidia's gsync video cards based on manufacturer's feedback.

I don't think Sceptre is a good brand. It's a budget brand.

1080p monitors will be much cheaper, even half priced by the end of the year, 1440p will become standard, and honestly should be standard.

1080p probably isn't worth it, 1440p is more futureproof and adds a lot to the gaming experience.

Cryptocurrency ruined it by making gpu extremely expensive for last decade. I think we can finally afford something that can push 1440p.

Just an FYI, overwatch does not play nice with ultrawide monitors. There's been ongoing forum complaints about this. A brief Google search will tell you all you need to know. I have learned to deal with the huge black bars on the side and the reduced vertical field of view, but I curse more now when there's a Pharah flying around and I'm having trouble finding where those rockets keep coming from.

every time i think about getting an ultrawide i just google the games i currently want to play followed by "ultrawide" and every single time most aren't supported or have issues. just did a search of the current games i'm playing

dead cells - no support
darkest dungeon - no support
sekiro - no support
redout - stretched to fake ultrawide

and every single time people say "most games are supported!" yet.. they aren't

True, and for the games that 'do' support ultrawide, it's usually irrelevant (unnecessary for the type of game) and slapped on without thought to what happens to stuff like the HUD/UI elements which are usually, and painfully, bound to the edge of the screen and become much harder to track when playing.

it's not a real ultrawide image.. it's a zoomed in/ cropped image . you're actually losing part of the picture compared to non ultrawide
