PROS:
  • Least expensive solution to get 3 switchable outlets with energy monitoring
  • All three outlets are controllable individually with Alexa. There have been mixed reports about Google Home usage. I don't use that so I can't comment.
  • KMC honors warranty - had mine replaced through Amazon messages
CONS:
  • Made in Vietnam - quality is sometimes worse than China made units
  • Internal soldering & assembly quality varies A LOT. Personally I don't use mine until I disassemble them and inspect/repair them myself. See my teardown & repair post HERE.
  • Without repair & inspection these are fine for small loads (and possibly large loads depending on who built your unit).
  • The first one I bought died after 1 month. Lost energy monitoring and it randomly freezes & reboots - I contacted KMC & received a working replacement..


EDIT: Sorry everyone, right after I finished this writeup the 2 pack vanished again. I purchased before posting this to verify it would stay in stock after purchase. It did. Please don't downvote whenever I excitedly posted this deal to try to benefit other slickdealers. Purchase proof attached.
