I'm not a huge HP fan but I picked up a spectre a little over a year ago for a business travel workstation. It is amazingly light (I usually rock a 17.3 gaming notebook so I may be biased) well built and an all around great performer as a workstation computer. I never tried video editing or gaming on it so evaluate your needs. Over all I like it a lot and recommend. I've had 0 issues or reasons to complain about it.

Decent machines, and the insides look beautiful, but have fun getting parts at less than half what you paid for the new machine if you break something besides the keyboard or SD card reader. If you need a work laptop, these machines should work fine, but if you're prone to breaking electronics, I'd recommend something much cheaper.

Not a fan of HP. There is a new model of these 2in1 coming out. I would with the dell.

A question, I have had several quality problems with HP products. Worse problems with their help. Anyone else?

Yes! However, I had the 15" version and it was a thing of beauty. Don't know about this one, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy this HP laptop.

Would love to try one of these out, but not at the risk of a 15% restocking fee. Wish BB carried a 16/512 version.

I know how you feel I had the same issue but own this model and it's one of the best laptops I have owned! Highly recommend this computer and it's a great price

This was $799 a few weeks ago. I had the 2018 HP Spectre i7 and loved it. I just received this latest Spectre a few days ago (arrived several days earlier than the suggested date)

I went with the i5 model this time @ $799

Performance is great - i5 performs better than the older i7

The build quality is really nice, very impressed compared to the older build.

Yes, but that was several years ago. I don't have recent experience with HP.
