-- Definitely VERY YMMV -- Select Home Depot stores have 25 lb buckets of Deckmate screws on Clearance for $27.02 from retail tagged at $105. HD website says products not found although some very limited stock may be available when visiting B&M. SKU's, UPC's & Model info is below. HD must have zero'd out the inventory even in stores that still have stock. Their website shows as not found even at locations where I found them. Brickseek shows no results either. There are definitely some out there if you can find them in store.

Deckmate #9 - 3 in. star drive deck screw - Tan - 25lb / $105 - $27.02
SKU 1003302931
UPC 764666733213
Model 3DMT25BK

Deckmate #9 - 3 in. star drive deck screw - Green - 25lb / $105 - $27.02
SKU 1003274840
UPC 764666733183
Model 3DMG25BK

Deckmate #9 - 2 1/2 in. star drive deck screw - Tan - 25lb / $105 - $27.02
SKU 1003274868
UPC 764666733167
Model 212DMT25BK

Also included in the clearance: - (thanks tomwil)

Deckmate #9 - 2 1/2 in. star drive deck screw - Green - 25lb / $105 - $27.02
SKU 1003274832

Looks like they discontinued the 25lb size some time ago and now its getting down to the last few units left. In Columbus, Ohio the first location only had one left, but second location I visited had 8-10 still available. Some product may be in lumber or Pro's area instead of regular hardware isle. Searching the model number on HD may give you the product images and specs, however it will show the largest size available as the 10 lb box.

Grabbed a bucket last week for $54. Wonder if they would do a price adjust.

Such a versatile screw. Indoor and outdoor use. Great for framing as well. These are construction screws with a coating

Thanks for posting the link to the tan 25lb bucket. However when I search my area it returns no results even though I saw them there last night. Maybe because HD already zero'd them out of their inventory? Similar to why the HD site shows not found even when I was in the store looking at them sitting right in front of me.

At first I was like... Green?..... really??? But for framing out my finished basement, they're more than capable.

I use this size screw for all my pocket hole projects that use 2x4's, no need for the pricey kreg branded screws

I just added pics of all three clearance tags if that helps. Good luck.

Actually in my experience these are horrible for framing. They designed the thread with reversible notches inside to keep decking material from mushrooming but what it does is makes deep ness of the thread half of the regular screws and when driving in new pine studs it's a hit or miss for them not to start spinning in the wood once head reaches the first piece of wood. They do ok in older studs since they're stronger but I wasn't impressed with these at all.
