Would go if it's MA compatible, or able to redeem on iTunes. Not sure why they think that they could start a VOD service this late in the game. I have about 60 movies on MA, and personally wouldn't want to have another app / service at this point.

FYI both previous films are available on Netflix.

Curious if the Digital Copies can only be redeemed on their AMCtheatres OnDemand movie service, or if you will be able to redeem them through another retailer. Both movies are MA, AMCtheatres OnDemand is not part of MA. Would kinda stink if they were stuck on their movie service. I imagine they are trying to promote their service.

I'm sure it's on their digital service which was kind of suck.

according to this article, their digital service is not compatible with movies anywhere.

I believe you have to book through AMC's website to get the offer.

Most likely the movies are from their new streaming service. They do have a Roku channel to stream the movies now. Probably will be compatible w/ other devices too. Maybe they'll add MA in the future or merge/transfer to a service that has that. If that is even possible.

Here's the Roku channel - https://channelstore.roku.com/det...-on-demand

Would have been nice to get the movies now, so I can watch those movies before seeing the new movie. Been awhile. I think I've seen the first, not sure if I watched the second movie.

Yeah, AMC's on demand service is not compatible with Movie's Anywhere. Which sucks otherwise I may have taken advantage of this deal.

It does look like the offer is only available via the web (amctheaters.com) and you have to redeem it AMC Theater's OnDemand service.

Another question beyond the provider of the digital copies, will they be in UHD? Both the original movies are available in 4k.

On the AMC Theatres On Demand channel on my Roku it shows that the movies are only available in SD or HD. Not really sure if they will offer 4K in the future.

Seems pretty clear in the T&C's that it's for the AMC streaming platform, not a MA code.
