It's nice to see these things going on sale again. It's been quite some time since sears use to discount these gladiator items all the time.

Helluva deal. Absolutely love these shelves to the point that I have numerous sets yet still don't delete my deal alert just because it's exciting to see them on sale. 😄

I have 3 of these, along with one StorageWorks (same as Edsal) from Northern Tool. There's is absolutely no comparison. The Gladiator is much higher quality and goes together with no tools (or just a dead blow hammer). The other one I have has a cheap, terrible looking finish and you have to use nuts and bolts to put the shelf supports on, which is a royal pain in the ass because you have to squeeze the hardware into small spaces and it takes WAY too much time. I can put 4-5 Gladiator units together in the time it took me to put together the one StorageWorks (Edsal). The thing was such pain in the ass to assemble that when I move from this house I'm leaving it here for the next owner because I refuse to disassemble and reassemble this piece of shit. If you need this type of shelving, do yourself a favor and buy these Gladiator units.

If you live near a Menards and purchase in store at Home Depot don't forget to ask for the 11% rebate form this week!

I have 5 of these and I just bought 2 more. They are great. I bought cheap bulk hockey pucks to stand them on so the legs never rust. They are the highest quality you'll get for under $500, and this is a good price. I paid less for 2 of my shelves, but that was dumb luck. The only time I've seen the advertised price lower than this was $129.99 on Black Friday 2018 at Lowe's.

While I love and have a whole garage of gladiator stuff, is there any reason these are better then the Costco ones?

Thank for the heads. It was also offered last month and going to review my purchases. Do you happen to know which are excluded items or generally speaking, what qualifies for the rebate?

I bought 5 of the costco whalen industrial rack from SD; those shelves are very similar to this Gladiator shelving unit. I bought 20 Heavy Duty Mapp casters to allow me to push all 5 racks into the corner of my basement, and yet still access the items on the shelves by pushing the shelving units around, if that makes sense. Then I self evicted myself from my fast-becoming-expensive self storage unit and just put all my stuff in my basement to save hundreds each month. Here's a link to the Mapp Casters:

It was a bit fussy to get the casters on; there's metal drilling involved if you want to do it right. I guess you could just use the factory holes on the shelves, but that might make them unsteady; I'm not sure.

I don't know how the Costco shelves compare to the Gladiator; all I know is the Costco units are bomber. The finish was fine after I wheeled them outside into the rain for a week too.

Is that $11 for one? Seems pricey. Also 300 lb capacity seems way to low for a rack that can support 8000 lbs. not saying everyone will put that much stuff but still
