Our Harbor Freight requires a receipt for replacement, so the "lifetime warranty" is mostly useless. Not a fan of HF

I dunno why Harbor Freight does this (skips common sizes for no apparent reason) they do it in their expensive Icon sets too.
As far as warranty returns, I don't concern myself too much with any of this low end stuff, I consider it largely disposable.
TIP: I take pictures of my receipts with my smartphone, file them away with a note app and store them on the cloud.

Bought mine last year as well... everything you said but few of mine required grinding for fit. I tested fit with other wrenches I have to confirm some were missed sized a bit. This is my rig up set... meaning if I need to bend or cut on it to get something off then these are my wrenches to use.
You need to file a complaint with your state Consumer Protection Agency. Their lifetime warranty does not specify you need to provide proof of purchase. It says you need to be the original purchaser. The warranty does not put that burden on you with the language that is written.
On a related note, the warranty does not say it is a limited lifetime, so by federal law everything is covered under all circumstances with no receipt required. They are not allowed to have exclusions.
