I am beginning to build my home theater and came across Denon AVR-X2600H 7.2-Ch x 95 Watts A/V Receiver w/HEOS renewed, its $150 off of Amazon's current price of $550.
"Our Guarantee All Denon Factory Certified Pre-owned Product sold by World Wide Stereo is guaranteed to perform as new and is backed by a one-year parts and labor warranty serviceable by any authorized Denon service center."

i am at a crossroads with this 2018 Yamaha TSR-7850R 7.2CH Dolby Atmos DTS Wi-Fi BT 4K Receiver, Black (Renewed) that is $279.99. Costco currently sells this mondel for $479 (it has gone lower a few times in the past and has been discussed a bit on SD)

if anyone has any insight between the 2 models and if the Denon is worth the $120 premium i would very much like to hear.

The World Wide Stereo unit is actually $599 which makes no sense since that's higher than retail. The $399 is sold by accessories4less and I wouldn't count on a year warranty. I've heard lots of horror stories about poor service after their refurb receivers crapped out past the typical 30-90 day warranty period offered by Amazon Renewed.

Receivers are something I typically buy new for peace of mind. I'm a Yamaha fan, but that's just a personal thing...my past 3 receivers have come from them and have all performed admirably.

I'm in the same boat. My local installer just recommended the same Denon. I gotta see what's out there that's equivalent or a little better
