I bought two of these a few days ago - received them in two days, which was nice. As with many phones I order from Verizon Value Ebay store, the year of service when I went to activate was not loaded in their front end system. You need to contact Verizon Value through Ebay with your Tracfone account (if you have one) email, zip cod where you want your number, and the IMEI of your phone from the red card in the box. They frequently activate your phone within 24 hours then. Other than that particular hoop, super good deal. I recommend the floral case if you want one that actually protects rather than the solid color cases that are flimsy and easily break.
Phone will unlock after one year? Can we port number out after one year?
They should unlock after 365 days of service so the year you get with it accomplishes this goal, but you have to have probably add at least one more month so that your service remains active when you request an unlock (you have to actually formally request it unless their rules change over the next year) and port out your phone number (service has to be active for that to work - they make it easy in their online dashboard you can get a port out pin right there without contacting customer service).
