- No, you cannot use Staples GC's to purchase these.
- No, these do not count towards your spend requirements for a premier membership.
- No, you cannot use coupons/ rewards to purchase these GC's.
- Yes, you can split payment between multiple cards (if your cashier permits it) YMMV
- The limit of 1 may or may not be enforced depending on your store/ cashier. YMMV
- Why is this a deal? Some members have CC's that earn 5% CB at office supply stores (INK and Amex Simply Cash). Others need to meet minimum CC spend.
- What if my store doesnt accept payment with a CC? Your store likely has had issues with fraud and it is managers discretion on what payment they will accept.
- Other chase cards may have special offers for Staples ($ limited). Check your chase account under chase offers.

One example. You have a new credit card with a bonus offer but you need to spend 6000 in 30 days. While in holiday times maybe no problem. But when you normally spend much less you look at prepaying utilities and pretty much anything you would need to spend money on. With these gift cards it's nearly like buying cash. Yes you owe 200 dollars at the end of the month but the next month you don't need to use the credit card you are trying to get the rewards on. Some cards have caught onto this so YMMV and do your research.
DO NOT use for mail order
Only in store swipes
Did on line purchase
Retailer pre authorized
Merchandise didn't ship
But card issuer holding amount
Requesting lots of documents for identity verification
And being off shore CS takes months to review and resolve
Had a long hassle a year ago with card theft used on amazon
Amazon agreed funds were stolen
Now new hassle for non shopper merchandise from another reputable retailer
Issuer is a nightmare
You can use them anywhere Visa credit cards are accepted. I even use them to pay bills that take debit cards.
Sorry, may be I was not clear on my question. I was asking if I can use staple gift card to purchase this visa prepaid card from Staples.
