Gigabit fiber internet service for $30/mo -- California SF Bay only

-7 Deal Score
1,591 Views
Sonic's gigabit fiber is available in twenty Northern California cities today, and until January 31st can be ordered with a $20/mo savings. Discount is good for 12 months, but service requires no commitment. Some cities are active today, some are pre-order -- but if you place a pre-order by January 31st, the discount will apply even if the service is activated later this year when your city comes online.

Discount limited to Sonic's own on-net fiber network. Taxes and fees are additional, including mandatory equipment rental of a minimum of $9.50/mo. Home phone service is included. Unlimited nationwide calling included, plus calls to landlines in over sixty countries. Porting of a phone number from an existing carrier is available at no cost.

Check your address on the landing page for eligibility and details: https://www.sonic.com/30-dollar-gigabit

It's not really $30 or even $50... You'll get a lot of tax and there's also modem rental.

So I'm a courier in San Francisco and I was in a coma after I crashed on my bike. Nobody used or was able to pay my bill for several months. Called Sonic and they could care less, they later sent my past due to collections and I'm not paying a fooking penny

It's Gigabit Service people. Try going thru Frontier FiOS,. I'm paying $50 for 200/200 and that's not including modem rental and taxes. Frontier FiOS customer service is the worst.

I'm willing to pay $100 for a True 1 gigabit service.

That one isn't the gigabit fiber. If it shows ATA rental then expect it to be resold ATT U-Verse service. It should show Fusion Fiber for their gigabit.

I used to have that before getting their gigabit fiber. Paying ~$63 a month in SF with the taxes and fees.

no data cap. It's on their website. No limitation whatsoever. You will always get max speed.
