The kit with battery, charger, and case is only $18ish more at $99.79: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0052MII3C/
edit: average price for the kit is around $175 so this is a great deal.

I've been wrong before, but I don't believe DeWALT makes a brushless version of this tool...

Not the brushless, but for as little as I'd use it instead of my regular brushless drill driver combo, it'd probably last forever.
Good price, best I've seen. I may have to grab one...

isn't there a right angle attachment you can buy? unless you are drilling right angles all day, hard for me to think you would need this.

There is. I broke mine a couple days ago. I still don't think I'll buy this at $80 but I will say As a filthy casual that I have to drill in a tight space way more often than I thought

jdhalbert, thanks for the heads up on the unit with a battery and charger. At $108 shipped that's a pretty solid deal.

The $7 deal for an attachment is available again even though it shows expired. Search for RYOBI Right Angle Drill Attachment (A10RAA1).

I'd think they'd last long if not used in heavy duty tasks... I got one (right angle attachment) too but hardly use it. It's definitely welcomed when needed though.

This is one of those tools that you don't use often, but when you need it, it's irreplaceable.

The right angle attachments are pretty flimsy and I've own 8-10 different brands and styles over the years only to find them lacking.

We probably only use ours once or twice a month as trade professionals but they're great for tight spaces, and this is a pretty good buy on the bare tool. I'd probably spend the extra bucks on the kit. Even though the 1.3Ah batteries aren't good for much more than a flashlight, for the extra $17 or so it's probably worth it.
