There are a couple comparisons. DeWalt appears to have more power. Is the 2415 smaller? I can't quite tell. Reviews say the DeWalt chuck has a deep throat which means it can (bear with me) accommodate long bits. So the real-world comparison would be the depth of the tool+ bit which I cannot find.

I'd say if you are deep into the DeWalt system, why spend more to get yet another type of battery?
The right angle adaptor is on sale too, $36 marked down to $20. Its done fine for my random DIY work where I needed access to a small space.

I've accumulated a number of 20v max tools but for something like this that's meant to fit into small spaces something like the Milwaukee m12 2415 makes a lot more sense. Has anyone compared the two?

I assumed the 12v tool would be a lot smaller but it looks like it's only 1/4 inch shorter than the Dewalt which isn't a big enough difference to justify another ecosystem imo.

The big size difference between them comes when you use the compact M12 battery vs the Dewalt 18v battery. You don't have the battery sticking out the front of the tool. Probably not an issue 90% of the time though.

if you need one of these, this is a good deal. I paid $72 on eBay for a new one from a private party. 7 more bucks for the security and convenience of Amazon purchase would be worth it. I'm an electrician and this tool is indispensable for drilling into wood or Steel in tight areas. Not as powerful as my regular DeWalt but you just have to go a little slower. I wouldn't want anything less powerful unless it was substantially smaller. And that wouldn't replace this, just probably replace the little right angle adapter I have to use very occasionally.

Regularly $20.

I currently have the Milwaukee 105 degree attachment, but I think I might get this instead, looks more sturdy for drilling.

New smaller one (don't know if it is better) is available at Lowes for ~$22.

Different model, dwara60 vs dwara100. Housing looks a little stronger on the 100

Going for a Lowes price match, got an idiot the first time said Li-Ion is not Lithium Ion, therefore they are different models even tho they both are DCD740B.

Was eventually able to get it done, a little sweeter since I had a GC I bought at 10% off.

Also, picked up the DWARA 120 for my impact.

Been meaning to knock out these items on my to get list for tools.

This past year this model of the attachment on sale for $10 at ACE Hardware every few months. No way to tell if it'll go on sale again, but if you don't need it right away it might be worth waiting.
