I bought the 360 via SD from Target in January 2019. I was in the process of moving and finally took it out of the box last week.

My early impressions are:
1. That it's incredibly easy. Set it and forget it, basically, for up to two weeks at a time. The thing is idiot proof as long as you don't completely forget to add water and plant food now and then.
2. The LED lights are extremely bright. I put it on my kitchen counter and it literally hurts to look at it. I wrapped it in a makeshift aluminum foil hood that helps keep the light inside, helping the plants grow and keeping my eyes safe. It's not pretty, but it works.
3. Plants grow and they grow fast! Even though my kit had been sitting in a basement for nearly a year, 5/6 seed pods germinated within a few days. The growth appears to be exponential now that the leaves are growing and the plants can photosynthesize properly. According to AG, I should be able to start harvesting around week 3 and I believe it.

My only concern at this point is how the veggies taste. I've read on some sites that AG grown veggies can be quite bland and overly watery. I am hoping that's not the case, but it's way too soon to tell. In any event, it's fun to watch the plants grow every day and my 3-year-old son loves watching his garden grow.
That's not even remotely the same. Some of the main benefits of AG are that there's no dirt, the garden is low maintenance/automated, and things grow faster than in soil. Additionally, I'm not sure you're going to find a height adjustable LED grow light for $10.
Plenty of people do. Google it.

This one on Amazon looks to be the same item: https://www.amazon.com/AeroGarden...889&sr=8-1

It appears the $179.95 might be inflated as this Amazon list price is $129.99.

Still looks like a good price at $79.95

Got the wife one for Christmas, she loves it and wants two more. Usual street price on the Elite is around $120, have seen them only as low as $89 once or twice for a few days. Great buy at under $80. I believe these LED units run at or around 20-22watts, so much more efficient than the old models. Tomato and Pepper plants can make it a bit top heavy when water gets low. You will need the "Aerovoir: extra water tank add on if you ever plan on leaving the house for more than a night or two, plants suck water from these like crazy. FYI-Most local stores won't stock the pods until around April/May, so grab what pods you want on Amazon.

I'm always so against these because of price.

$1 metal bin with holes in it
$<5 dirt
$<5 actual good quality seeds, not aerogarden
$10 LED lamp

Done

A good led growing lamp cost around $60.

These work well. I have a slightly different model but I use my own varieties of plants and even swapped out the fertilizer for a cheaper one. It's worked great for me for 2 years. Just mind the 12" vertical growing space since some plants need more.
