Newegg has a 17.3" screen MSI laptop GL73 9SC-027. Ends up costing $749 after the $200 rebate. This is a great price for those who don't require their laptop to run the absolute newest game that requires the very latest GPU, or for folks who just want a fast laptop for doing other productivity type of work.
$749 is the same net price as Newegg sold it during CyberMonday week.
(Price is $50 higher but the rebate is now $50 higher too. So the net price is the same $749 after the rebate is factored in.)
Intel Core i7 9th Gen 9750H processor (six cores)
16 GB Memory (2 x 8GB)
512 GB NVMe SSD
GeForce GTX 1650 4 GB
17.3" FHD screen 1920 x 1080
1 x HDMI (supports 4K @ 60Hz) =note the higher 60Hz, instead of more common 30Hz
1 x Mini DisplayPort
1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port (Under the new USB terminology, this means 10 GB transfer rate.)
3 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 port (Under the new USB terminology, this means 5 GB transfer rate.)
weight = 5.95 lbs.
The full specs of the GL-73 series laptop (this is 9SC-027 model) can be found at their MSI website here

I would try to find one in person, you might be annoyed at the size when you get it, it's 17"
battery is small. I'm guessing 6 hours of runtime on ms word/youtube and ~1 hour running a game. would be fine plugged in
I appreciate the info AND noticed your post in the other thread. Thanks for being great!
It's a gtx 1650 4gb. I say wait for a better deal.

I wanna know as well
But why not spend up to $1k to get a better laptop.
ONLY thing I hate is the touchpad (not an issue if u use external mouse) and the plastic casing means it gets super dirty and all the oils from your hands will show up. I've been cleaning mine daily with baby wipes.
I did install Witcher3 and the game runs fine at 1080p. So thats a plus.
I filed the rebate online and checked the status today and it's "pending". Overall, for $749, pretty solid deal for the current specs.
