this doesn't kill crab grass. if you're dealing with broadleaf weeds get anything with higher percentage of 2-4-D. if you're dealing with crab grass get anything with higher percentage of quinclorac.. you can mix them together to kill both

Crabgrass was a big issue last year with us, and it will probably be worse this year. Is there any particular product that you have used for crabgrass with good results?

Thanks in advance for your help!

there're a lot of videos talk about your issue on youtube keyword "lawn pre-emergent" means that to prevent the crab grass seeds germinate in the spring. you need to put down the chemical when the soil temp reach to about 50-55f in the spring. for any reason you missed the pre-emergent time then you need to use different product to kill them and do it asap don't let them fully mature it's harder to kill.

here are 2 of the best products to kill your "nightmare"
Quinclorac
Tenacity
these products are mainly for your nightmare and some common broadleaf weeds as well. tenacity work on both pre-emergent and post emergent, means that it will kill weeds after they germinated. pre-emergent chemical will not kill weeds after they germinate

this clip will resolve your issue and you'll have most of the answers you're having in your mind
