Got the Kindle book for $0.99 (free after no-rush credits) and then added the audible version for $0.82 ($0.87 with tax). No-rush credits do not work with Audible purchases but still an awesome purchase for less than 1 buck!!!

Thanks for the link. I suspected it was public domain but got it for the audiobook. If you listen to the sample, the voice actor does a credible job which is more than I can say for many of these things.

I was able to just buy the audible audio book for 0.82. Good find, my kids love to listen to audio books and podcasts in the car. This would be perfect for road trips. Thanks op

I went down this rabbit hole a few years ago... I can second this. Librivox or Gutenberg... It had to do with the artwork I remember. Some editions had different artwork and I was hunting for the original. But the fan made audio books left a lot to be desired... I did buy these audio books for 82 cents. But if you feel comfortable using calibre or anything to take the free ebooks and send to your Kindle I would definitely advise taking clintiepoo's advice!
