This requires a QC 2.0 charger to enable 10W Qi charging. Note that not any old 5V/2A charger will work.
I bought into the tech when first came out, then scratched my head trying to figure out where I would use it.

My best spot, that turned out very useful was bed side. In the dark its a pain in the rear to find the cord that has fallen behind your nightstand and try to "get it in the hole"

Very handy when you decide you want to play on phone or take a text, simply pick up phone and when finished set back down. No hunting for cord in the pitch black, and trying to find a way to convince her to let you get it in the port. Phones can be shiesty wanting you to lift case flaps up, and finding the correct entry . Best way around this charger port foreplay is to buy a wireless charger and get your charge regardless if the phone is ready or not.
Wasn't sure why you posted this, but then sorted the Aukey reviews by newest first and looks like a bunch of unhappy customers. Will buy another Anker for $2 more.

Edit: this code is still live AKA25313 , drop it to $8.50

Looking for a stand charger instead. Would definitely be all over this if it was a stand instead. Seems like a good deal though.

Perfect timing. Planning a vacation where I'm going to take my S9 underwater which means I can't wire charge until the port is dry but I can charge wirelessly. Thanks!

Bought one of these last time it was on sale and it works well; no complaints.

Please note it does not include a power adapter, though most people probably have a dozen of those (5V/2A charger) lying around from previous phones...

Thanks for the correction, I don't use/need QC 2.0 for my phone (overnight charging)

Good deal but I'd much rather go with Anker and get this one:

Honest question, is wireless charging really that much more convenient than just plugging the phone in? I don't see much benefit to it tbh.

If your phone case makes it a hassle to open the charge port flap or you use your phone in water, the wireless charger makes it so much easier to charge your phone.

people usually use it to charge while in the office or overnight. since no wires connected to the phone you can just set it and forget it and when you leave no need to disconnect any wires.

Agreed. The set it and forget it makes it nice. It's like having remote keyless entry for your car versus having to use a key. Using a key isn't difficult or take that long, but once you go touch only, you won't go back.

There is the potential for the port to get damaged too after so much plugging/unplugging. Not that probable, especially if you get new phones frequently, but possible.

I use it overnight, it's easier than grubbing around for the cable between my bed and nightstand.
