This heater features an adjustable thermostat that maintains the temperature within 3 to 4 degrees, safety shut-off system and tip over protection, cool-to-the-touch case, tight grill spirals and quiet operation. -Corwin
Since this has a physical (vs electronic) switch, I ha e mine connected to a a smart plug to give me more control of when I want the device to operate
Yes, 1500 watts is 1500 watts but this is better constructed and uses better materials than the super cheap ones which means
1. LESS RATTLE
2. Quieter fan mechanism
3. Better fan disperses the heat created and warms the whole room evenly rather than just warming a small area.
Having owned both the cheapo 1500w space heaters and Vornado ones I can say with confidence this is worth just over 2x the price of the cheapo one. At normal prices it is questionable whether the Vornado is worth it but at this price there is no doubt in my mind.

Thumbs up for both VMinnovations and Vornado. They ship fast from Indianapolis and most Vornados carry a 5 year warranty. They've replaced a few for me over the years without any hassle...just send them a pic of the serial number and then cut the power cord.

Is VH2 better than VH200?
I believe the former is made in the US but only has two heat settings?
I've bought the VH200 in last year's deal.
There's a burning smell when running VH200 on the high heat mode (1500 W), so I always run it in medium or low heat mode.
Does the high heat mode on VH2 also have this problem?

This is what I plan to do, but I wanted to somehow hang it upside down from the ceiling of my garage gym. Do you know if it'll work upside down due to tip protection? Thanks.

Who replaced them ? Vminnovations or Vornado ?
Or would the heat dissipate too much from these to be effective?
