IMO at this price point, this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...0DER&psc=1 is better purchase.

I think the one at bestbuy is an older model. The new one though very similar in other aspects has better brightness. Without any deal that one is $350.

Decent panel if you want curved but there is a new model out now that I believe gets brighter and has a less obtrusive stand. These have been $300 before and I think are $350 regularly. This isn't much of a discount given that a new and better version is out.

I have the MPG version of the 27CQ.
I paid $370 for it. Differences that I can see off the bat is the MPG has the led bar on the bottom, and the stand has a 3rd leg( which I hate as it stands about 10 inches off wall ).
The led bar on the bottom is nice, you can have it go through colors and such but the best use is turning it to audio where it will light up on sound detected and the louder the sound is the more it lights up. It'll also light up in the direction the sound was detected. Very handy..

I do have a issue where it doesn't go to standby properly all the time but MSI said I would have to return it to fix it.
Being that I think the MPG and MAG are identical outside these 2 things, I can say I LOVE this monitor. I would still pay extra for the MPG functions though.

Bought this monitor last year for $400. Absolutely no regrets. $300 is a steal!

Not much of a deal. I got the MAG321CQR and think I paid $340 at Frys after a 20% in store coupon (back when they had those). Even now it's been $350 a few times on SD after MIR. Waiting to spend $40-$50 more for another 5" is worth it to me.

I got mine 280 at walmart last month. Its surprisely good and I came from IPS. VA panel is really not that bad. Everything working as it should. The blacks are deeper than IPS but colors are less vibrant which I can fix it by setting vibrance in nvidia panel. The legs are very obtrusive but very nicely build and very cool looking. The led can be changed to volume as it turns on by the sound or just leave it in rainbow wave. Its definitely better than that Dell TN panel

So the dell gsync one that was 300 last week? This one is better? Asking cause my dell unit arrives Thursday and I'll return it for this lol.
