Two years ago, I bought these for home, was not impressed with them and left them at work.

Due to the compound action, they don't open very wide. There is a lot of wobble in the compound action. They are about as effective as a good standard pair of diagonal cutters, but nothing like my knipex mini bolt cutters. At work, no one has managed to break them, but neither has anyone walked away with them.

I had a pair of these once, left at a job site in order to pass on the frustration, bright side tool belt lighter.
