only a company like MT would advertise it as a casein product and use a cheaper milk protein isolate (yes, i know. 80% casein) and calcium caseinate as the first two ingredients and finally use the more expensive micellar casein as the last ingredient of the protein matrix.

LMAO, came here to say basically this.

Having worked in a design/ad agency, I can tell you that a highly educated, experienced artist probably had their arm twisted into doing this. Retail packaging design is a painful process to oversee.

Ha! Interesting, and I guess not too surprising.

While I do take supplements for lifting, I'm by no means super well informed on them and I'm sure there's smarter people than me taking this exact same supplement.

However, when a product's general aesthetic seems to be "let's make this look the way a Warheads candy tastes" I generally steer clear.

Muscletech has some of the cleanest products out there.

It's not better than whey. In fact, if you could only take one you would definitely want to take whey. But studies have shown that strength trainers taking both whey AND cassein had more gains than those who only took whey. Cassein also takes longer to digest which means you feel fuller, longer which is helpful for intermittent fasters and also makes for a great last meal of the day. The slow burn also means you get a steady stream of amino acids to your muscles which helps reduce muscle breakdown.

Good taste and mixes nice. As some have said, it's essentially a casein blend, which doesn't make it bad, just a heads up for those considering. Still a thumbs up from me and in for one
