Went into the store yesterday to add a new line and they had this deal so I ended up buying a Pixel 4 as well. It's a 30 month bill credit, not an up front discount. And you still have to pay tax on the full value of the phone. Deal appears to be on the 64 GB model only.
Get a Google Pixel 4 XL 64GB for $10/mo. when you buy it on an AT&T Installment Plan with elig. wireless service. Other qual. plans available.
Limited Time Offer. Available in select locations. Not an upgrade offer.
You'll need to:
Have a qualified Business Agreement for Corporate Responsibility User lines of service.
Purchase a Google Pixel 4 XL 64GB on a qualifying installment agreement.
Add a line to a new or existing account.
Pay taxes on the full retail price up front.
Activate postpaid wireless service (minimum $50/mo. on AT&T Mobile Share Plus for Business plan with AutoPay discount; pay $60/mo. until discount starts w/in 2 bills. Other qual. plans avail. Existing customers can add to eligible current plans.).
Note: Requires a qualifying 0% APR AT&T Installment Plan (30-mo. term at $32.00/mo.). Retail price will be divided into monthly installments. You can also buy on an Equipment Installment Plan (24-mo. at $40/mo. or 36-mo. at $26.67/mo.). See att.com/nextup, att.com/equipmentinstallmentplan and your Retail Installment Agreement for full details. If buying on the AT&T Installment Plan with Next Up, customer is responsible and will not receive any credits for an additional $5/mo. for the Next Up upgrade feature.
After that you'll get:
$660 in bill credits for the Google Pixel 4 XL 64GB—sweet!
Note: Credits start within 3 bills and will be applied in equal amounts over up to 36 months. After all credits, get the Google Pixel 4 XL 64GB for $10/mo. on the AT&T Installment Plan or $12.50/mo. on the EIP-24 or $8.34/mo. on the EIP-36. You will receive catch-up credits once bill credits start.
Important notes:
To qualify for bill credits, wireless line must be on an installment agreement and remain active & in good standing for 30 days.
To get all the credits, keep the device active for the entire agreement with eligible wireless service.

If you cancel service on any other line on your account within 90 days of activating the line under this offer, device credits will stop.
If you upgrade or pay up/off the installment agreement on the device early, your credits may cease.

Good deal if you can complete the requirements and plan to have AT&T anyway. With some of the recent p4 sales, there are better deals out there for the 30-month timeline and comparing phone+service costs. But for anyone who wants to be on a main MNO, this seems decent.
Not bad if you need a phone right away and are planning on opening a line like for a kid in the family, but best but recently had pixel 4 64gb basically for free with bill credits just for upgrading. No line needed to be added.

When was this. I've been trying to track pixel pricing for upgrade with att for a while now.
This promotion has been going on since last month. I did not post it because people absolutely hate bill credits on here.
Basic outline of the requirements:
1) Unlimited Plan
2) Must be a new line
3) Must stay on installment plan for (30 months)
Never makes sense to me. I'll take all the bill credits I can get. I have no reason to leave my carrier so what's the downside to credits if I'm not leaving current carrier?

That was a very rare occurrence. I haven't seen something that good since the free iPhone 7 back in 2016.

Exactly! Bill Credits is great if you are not leaving any time soon. But some just need to find a reason to complain.
Post-paid plans are never a deal.
'wow i get to pay $111.21/month for service and i get an overpriced crappy phone for $360 over 36 months, what a bargain!"
Also funny how post-paid has come full circle
2008 post-paid: sign up for our unlimited plan for $75/month, get $600 phone for $199! 2 year contract!
2020 post-paid: sign up for our unlimited plan for $85/month (+tax/fees), get a $900 phone for $360! 3 year credits!
"Bill Credits" just became the new way to market Early Termination Fees, except ETFs you could actually get out of if they messed with your plan/pricing at all. .

Yes. Definitely rare but recent. Depending on sales of the pixel 4, who knows. It might happen again.
