I wouldn't even say sale.. they've been trying to dump these for the past couple months. Hence making you buy 2 to get the deal, even you only might need 1.
This is basically the same tactics Kohl's uses.. inflate the MSRP and post a discount to trigger impulse buying due to getting a "deal".
I'm sure it's fine for $15, but don't think it's a steal.

I ordered 2 of these when they went on sale for black Friday. It was a sale and glitch in the system. I just remember it being such a pain for the glitch to work on the colors that I wanted to purchase. In the end I spent like 40 minutes attempting to get my preferred color but definitely worth it. Love the quality on these.
