However, in order to reach the final price $37.99 (after $10 GC rewards), you will also need active gamers club membership (only a few lucky ones still have that active since best buy ended the program last year).
SV is more of a "life sim" since the emphasis is on your job, money, and tending to your health. The relationships are kinda secondary.
AC is more about the social experience aka "social sim" and you could completely not care about money or what you're doing and still have a good time in the game if that's what you're looking for. There's also no health to worry about.
So you can't call one better than the other since it depends on what you want.
