I already have this drill kit, but thinking of buying to sell the drill kit and keep the hard case and impact/sds
I mean, both the SDS and 1/2 impact are worth more then the batteries for resale and far more then the free tools that are normally offered in these kinds of deals

The hammer drill on the 996 is useful up to about 3/8" holes max, and then really only just a few at once. The rotary hammer is good to 1"+ holes, plus you can use the hammer only function to run chisels or blade tips. They're great for demoing tile.
We pretty much only grab out 996's for predrilling for tapcons and nothing else. If you only have the 996 it'll do the work, but if you anticipate using it more than a few times a month for that purpose the rotary hammer is the better tool.
There where a few deals under 300 for these over the holidays. I would wait unless your in need.
There are no deals that have these selection of high price brushless tools to choose from. Especially not for this rotary hammer and impact wrench

$89 more gets you 2 more batteries and an extra tool. Seems like this is a better deal.

Tyler tool had the flex volt set of impact and drill for 208 bucks with 2 free tools. You couldn't pick the sds or the impact but I did get a few vacuums, and a few 3/8 brushless impacts.
