I don't think this is an authorized reseller so you're probably better off spending the extra $20 to get it from NewEgg
Is this the international version? If it is then the warranty only applies to Japan so you would have to have it serviced there. That's the info I got from the international version being sold on Amazon.
I think a better option would be buying the refurbished version from Amazon for $200 and purchasing the 3 year protection/warranty for 34$.
EDIT: Or if you want new you could get the newegg a previous commenter mentioned for $20 more.

I have the gold XM2 the black XM3 before and I looove how these perform esp the ANC. I am impressed with these headsets and didn't really update the firmware on my 2s until this week when it asks to take a picture of my earlobes with the updated app. Really?!?!?! Didn't know what it was for but I did.
Now that Costco is selling the AirPod pros for the same price, I'll cancel it and get another XM3.
You're right. I'd probably pass on both deals. Better to either wait for the XM4 or buy the refurb XM3 from Amazon for $200 with the $35 warranty.
Personally I would wait and get the XM4 and give the XM3s to my wife lol
May have to wait a bit. The XM3s are only a year old. But I hope the XM4s can pair with more than one device simultaneously. The XM3 can only be connected to one device at a time. Want to listen to music on ur laptop and then take a call on your phone....nope.

You can actually pair them with multiple devices.
