This is $50 higher than the BF Deal for the same TV at Costco. Its a good TV but the Software is buggy and I might send it back after Superbowl...
I've been really eyeing this TV after seeing the reviews at rtings.com, is the software really that bad? I was considering the LG 65" ($500 at Costco right now) before seeing the reviews about these two TVs on that site

It is really bad, but there are options like Roku and Fire stick instead.

It's bad but not bad enough for me to return it. It does turn itself on/off about once a month, you can see blooming at dark scenes, the color was okay, to summarize it, you get what you paid for :p
Those aren't exactly the same TVs, are they? I'm pretty sure there's a difference between the M series and the M 8 and I believe the M was better rated than the M 8
Edit: Nevermind, I apparently don't understand Vizio's model designations

No they're the same. M8 is the top of the line M series. M6 and M7 are less bright with fewer dining zones

Thanks for the explanation, I was having trouble understanding the differences between the models that Vizio has. $600 for a pretty well rated TV, that's an awesome price at Costco. Thanks @DDave123 and @Asryn!

Argh that's a bit disappointing considering the scores rtings.com gave it...this round of TV research is the first time I've used their site, does anyone know if their recommendations/review scores are actually any good?
I bought this TV just before Black Friday. It was $600 from Dell and came with a $200 gift card (that I used on an Nintendo Switch). I am absolutely loving the picture on it. 4K HDR content looks amazing! The smart features are a little slow but I could buy a Roku for $40 if I really wanted to.

Exactly. Haven't used any app on the tv.
