I picked up the heavy duty (k7000) parallel clamps last time and they are quite the hidden gem in the world of parallel clamps—definitely at this price I'd recommend them.

I know it's a joke, but in case anyone wasn't aware the clamp can be flipped to use as a spreader. That's what's being shown in the funny looking picture.

You want the heavy duty ones (last link) with the silver color bar, not the regular ones with the black bar as those are definitely not worth the money. The heavy duty ones come in 24, 32, and 40 inch lengths.

Yost parallel clamps are my favorite of the budget brands (Jet and Bessey are top tier for parallel). Definitely recommend them.
