CPU: Ryzen 3 3200U (Passmark 4610, single thread 1634), Vega 3 integrated graphics
RAM: 4GB DDR4 2666 MHz (non-soldered, only 1 slot)
HD: 128GB SSD M.2 SATA + empty M.2 slot (first slot supports SATA and NVMe, empty slot supports NVMe)
USB: 2x USB 3, 1x USB 2, 1x USB-C (USB-C does not support charging or video out)
Video out: HDMI (full size, can do 4k @ 60Hz)
Other: Ethernet port, audio combo jack, SD card reader
Wifi: 802.11ac (Intel AC 3168, 1x1)
Bluetooth: v4.2
Backlit keyboard: Yes (though apparently does not look good on silver model)
Camera: 720p front cam with IR
Construction: Magnesium aluminum
Battery: 47 Wh, ~7.5 hr battery life, 65W charger
OS: Windows 10 Home 64 bit (not S)
Weight: 2.55 lbs
Warranty: 1 year limited
Selling points:
-1920 x 1080 IPS screen
-Extremely light weight for size, with competitors (eg LG Gram) being much more expensive
-Compact/narrow bezels - 14" screen on laptop that is the size of a 13"
-Quiet
-Metal construction (Aluminum magnesium alloy)
-Backlit keyboard (some people do report the silver model the backlit is not bright enough due to the silver background of the key. with the black model having the best backlit/key background color combination)
-pretty good trackpad (large size)
-Ethernet port, full size HDMI with 4k
-Windows 10 Home (don't need to convert from S mode, has zero bloatware so no need to reformat)
-Front IR camera supporting Windows Hello (login to Windows using facial recognition)
-Very low price for all of above
-Runs Ubuntu Linux [reddit.com] perfectly (no driver installs, command line edits, etc)
Detractions:
-1 slot of RAM - so no dual channel, resulting in ~25% graphics performance hit
-Comes with 4GB RAM. While sufficient/fast for most people (despite what forums will have you believe), power users may benefit from 8GB, an easy and cheap upgrade
-Not from a well known brand (it was put out by a partnership between Walmart and THX)
-Screen could be brighter outdoors (240 nits)
-USB-C does not support charging or video output
-Wifi is 1x1 (can be easily upgrade to AX200 2x2 wifi 6 for about $18, some people do it to get the fastest possible Wifi 6 speed as well as reportedly better range and less signal drops)
-No 2.5" slot
-Trackpad a bit fidgety for precise movements
-Speakers are what you would expect for this class of laptop
8GB RAM for $30 (replaces the 4GB, so total after upgrade is 8GB not 12GB)

I will save you all the hassle, it does NOT have a second slot for RAM. RAM is single channel/slot only.

This Ryzen 3 machine flies with 16GB, the above tweak, and turning off a bunch of eye candy in the Windows performance settings.
Is there anyway to have the backlight for the keyboard STAY ON and not time out?
Is there anyway to LOCK the fn key so i dont have to press fn+f11 and just press f11 by itself to reduce brightness ?
-i see a lock symbol on the f2 key but when i fn+f2 to lock/unlock it doesnt do anything and i still have to press the fn key to do anything?
I do get the occasional freezup/not responding on chrome, when that stops responding the whole computer freezes up basically. Memory and cpu utilization doesnt max out but i notice the network utilization/wifi starts peaking during these periods? Is the issue with ram or the wifi card? (i dont actually drop wifi signal) it just seems like the wifi card tries to process way too much information and gets stuck or something.

FN F2 actually disable/enable the winkey that's inbetween the Fn and Alt key. Has nothing to do with F1-F12, etc. Pretty stupid ....
Did you do all the windows updates and installing latest chipset driver and graphic drvers from amd?

Really it is insane that this was only $199. Compared to my 4GB Chromebook, this thing performs much better and is more efficient with memory. Plus the display is crazy sharp. And I am happy to have some standard Windows apps back like Paint.
Our school district should buy 100 of these things and get rid of the Chromebooks.
Color me impressed. If this deal is still going I may buy a couple more of them.
I had chrome open with like 10 tabs, with spotify web player running, 2 slack windows, etc
installing microsoft 365, and some other file transfer app open at the same time
ended up freezing it, and it wouldn't recover, had to hard reset
my 16gb memory arrives on wed, i ordered from bhphoto since amazon is backordered. can't come soon enough, lol

Or are you simply recommending to install them for stability on chrome?
