First post here, let me know if I should update.

Home Depot has the 20" Ryobi 40 v self propelled mower (model RY40190) on clearance at some stores. Mine had them all grouped together in the mower aisle clearly marked with yellow clearance tags. The list price on these are $399 but HD has them on sale for $299 currently, with some stores marking down further to $249.

Here is the brickseek link. It will show as "Clearance" for your store if they have it at the further reduced price.

Local one is out, but according to BS one 20 miles away has them. Too bad you can't get the clearance price online for in store pickup. HD site says none at that store.

Can confirm. Saw this at my Home Depot in NJ yesterday. I'd have jumped on it if I didn't already have a 60v greenworks.

So if it says clearance and is in stock it's going to be $249? Around me has a ton.

I had this mower for less than a year before the battery died. I couldn't mow even half my average sized lawn on a single charge. Batteries are over $100 each. When the included one died, I bought a gas powered Honda and never looked back. If you have anything but a puny lawn, save your money.

What was the runtime? My lawn is tiny.

~30 mins. It's also much weaker then it's gas counterparts. You can't go as quick over thick grass, else it chokes and shuts down, which prolongs the job.

They also have the non self propelles one on sale. I want to say for ~$200. I saw both in my local home depot earlier this week.

I've got the non self propelled version. Great for small yard. Beats dealing with the up keep of a gas mower.

There is the brickseek link for the push one that was cheaper. It was somewhere between 150 and 200 I forget exactly.

You can call the Ryobi support, and they will mail you another battery. This thing has 5 year warranty.... Furthermore, one of mine started charging to 50% only. They sent me a new one, and told me to keep the other battery that hold half a charge. The ryobi support folks are in South Carolina, and were super helpful testing it.

You can also pick up extra batteries at DirectToolsoutlet at a discount. They also have this mower at $249ish when I was at the store last weekend.
