Paypal does ACH transfers. I'm just trying to find what would be the easiest which is I already have money in my account from another bank institution. But how does it work when a company I contract for uses PayPal to handle payments? This contractor doesn't deal with direct deposit to my bank institution anymore...
I closed my Wells Fargo account and reopened a week later for this promotional bonus offer. I received a approval for checking account and an email a mentioning that I'm good for the bonus.
How long after reopening an account did you recieve that email saying you were good for the $400? I opened mine up last night and recieved several emails thereafter but none mentioning the bonus offer.

FYI for others that Venmo does not appear to be counting as a direct deposit for me (judging by the fee summary not showing an "X" for deposits.) This was with a slow Venmo transfer. I did use instant linking at first (entering username/pass to link from Venmo,) not sure if that screwed it up. I deleted the account and did again with the two small deposits... still didn't work after that either.
EDIT: I think I am incorrect; I am seeing these as Category: Direct Deposit after all

I had the opposite result with Venmo. I did the instant linking and underneath the deposit it says "Category: Direct Deposits" and on my first statement it had a check next to the direct deposit section..

You know what, you are right - mine says that too. I think I was misreading the "fee summary" page thinking that it was reflecting the active fee period... but it seems like it's showing what happened in the last posted fee period.
Don't worry, you maybe won't even have to...
Just had someone withdrawn 2k in 2 different branches a week ago from my checking - and they still "investigate"; didn't even mark it as a "claim" yet, let alone refunded. Covering for an internal job, I'd guess.
Crooks!
I'd like to know as well! I met the DD requirement a few weeks back and I'm just about to complete my 90 days
I met the requirement about 2 weeks ago and no bonus yet. Per the offer, looks like it will come within 30 days after the 90 day qualification period.
Here's how the offer reads:
"After the 90-day qualification period, we will deposit the bonus into your new checking account within the following 30 days if you have met all offer requirements. Throughout the qualification period and until the bonus is paid, your account must remain open with a balance greater than $0."

Appreciate the info! Please update us when you receive your bonus within the 30 days after. Thanks!
