Still $400 from ATL to SD. About what I pay anytime of the year. We take SW out there once a year. The time of the flight is horrid compared to summer, 6:25am. Somehow the SD flight is cheaper than the LAX flight which has multiple flights vs one.

Agree and if I spend the time looking then I usually take a quick look at the Southwest Low Fare Calendar to see where the deals fall.

have to hand it to southwest...even with all the incomplete maintenance records they have on the planes they still happened to get everyone there safely..minus the incident with the woman getting sucked out the window :/

Only Tuesday and Wednesday flights from 2/26 to 5/20 within California are $29. And only a limited number of seats per flight are available at that price, so some popular flight times are no longer $29.

Please provide proof regarding maintenance records. Southwest is nowhere near bottom or the barrel in the U.S. maintenance-wise.

They really have been, and it sucks because I have their rewards credit card. Does anyone know of a better card, that I can actually make use of the flight points?

Actually Southwest is one of the safest airlines in the U.S. I believe that woman was the first ever casualty on an on board passenger. I believe the other fatality happened with a crew member on the ground.

Can't say the same for other airlines like American airlines and United.
