Why not bundle a Klipsch sub?

And I don't want Atmos in my speakers. I'm planning to mount in-ceiling.

So, this deal isn't for me, looks like a good deal though. Thanks OP.

they have those... but Rel is another level alltogether, IMO

So at market sale prices, that's about a $500 pair of mains, a $200 center, and $140 pair of satellites. That puts the sub at ~$460. Not bad if you were going to go with a full lower end Klipsch setup and wanted Atmos....

On the other hand, while the sub seems nice and is probably better any sub Klipsch makes, you could get a SB12 for $399 or BP12-NSD for $499, and get a better sounding 5.1 setup for the same money by not going full range on the mains and getting higher quality bookshelves since a sub is involved anyways.

it's better than none but 12 would likely be more effective

Haha, I was curious more if the output power of such a setup would be overkill for an average living room.

Not just the subs but the whole shebang

I'm looking to create some sort of relaxation room in my basement for me and some friends and I play some games and watch a movie a couple of times a week, would this be a good starter bundle? It's a pretty large space but the ceilings are fairly low.

REL is a much appreciated dedicated sub woofer maker.

Rel is the best part of this package.
