I own this pair of Klipsch speakers. It is in the large side for bookshelves. The sound is very lively, forward and fun to listen to. Bass is adequate if you are place them for near field listening. A very nice and balanced speaker, I would recommend them to general consumer for sure. Audiophiles always criticize this or that. But for this price, you are getting a very nice looking and sounding bookshelves for your desk or TV.

These are excellent speakers. You'd need to spend $2500 to get better bookshelf speakers than these.

Why black and no walnut? I've been waiting for these for 6 months and the wrong color comes up.

Would these pair nicely with the RP8000 ii for surround speakers?

These pop up new on eBay for $300 once in awhile. That's how I got mine and I like them quite a bit

Not true at all. Off the top of my head: Ascend Acoustics Sierra 1 V2, Elac DBR-62
