To make this even sweeter, apply the code "IWANTIT" for an extra 5% off. That helped knock the tax down a good bit. The coupon code doesn't work any more. Frown

The new firmware [sony.com] 4.2.2 (posted a few months ago) allows you to disable the touchpad to avoid this problem.

Buyer beware if your in a region where it drops below freezing, the touch pad starts to wig out and auto activate voice assistant and randomly turn down volume. Deal breaker for me in NYC, hoping xm4 are better

Hmm I'm in Brooklyn and I usually wear a hooded coat during the winter so I don't think this will be a problem for me but something to keep in mind.

Secondipity is decidedly not a Sony authorized reseller [sony.com]. In past deals for these, some buyers have reported success in getting Sony to honor warranty, others not so much.
