    I don't have the MX500 in 2tb size, but have a variety of them in 500gb and 1tb. The drives have been excellent in their performance for their price. If I needed a 2.5" ssd and didn't want to shell out for a Samsung, I would go with these again.

    These drives are great. Stable and reliable and well worth the price. I bought a 1TB for $170 around the end of 2017 and it was worth it back then too.

    Flash memory prices are consistently going down, so do not buy it if you are just buying it for the deal, it will be lower priced in a few months. If you do need a SSD, however, I would go ahead and pick one up.
