These are mostly for aesthetic purposes, didn't do a very good job at protecting my phone, I'd recommend either using a glass screen protector with this or just getting a bulkier case.

When I go to the web site, it shows 50% off and 19.95 for the case. I add it to my cart and the cart shows total due of 19.95 plus tax. I click checkout and the price changes to 24.95 and shows the discount as 37.51%. This happened the last time these Google cases were on sale at Verizon. I've tried with their app on my phone, on the web site on my phone and also on my desktop. As soon as I click on on checkout, the price goes up.

these cases are not for protection, do not buy these if u are looking for protection! (this isn't for u, but for anyone else wanting a case for protection)

Yeah - I dig the fabric feel (had a great Incipio one for my Pixel 1) but the fact that there is no raisivity (for the slam boys) is a damn shame. Why would they offer a case with protection for the display? And charge that much (initially)?

I've been using the google fabric cases for the past 3 generations. I like 'em. They aren't as protective as other cases, but I do like the grip and feel of the fabric, along with the fact that they wear and stain and make your phone feel more like a thing you own and not just another piece of black silicone. That being said...

I just got a pixel 4 (tmo - $400 so cheap!) and had to try 3 of these cases on the phone before one fit correctly. The volume rockers were messed up on two of them - one was black, one was grey so it's not limited to the color. The third worked perfectly.

Anyway, if you can grab them instore I'd do it over ordering, so if there's an issue you can swap it. But know that the one that works has clicky volume buttons and the old ones were mushier and would stick against the actual buttons underneath so they didn't work. Tried stretching and everything.
