When Publix has this sale you can order the best ingredients they have
in the deli section at no increase in the $5.99 price, Boars Head meats , best cheeses
in the case. If they sell what you prefer in the store the employee will generally go find it.

I was so excited when I saw this post.. My upcoming ad in south FL does not have this deal. Possibly a ymmv?

From a Twitter post (not the Official Publix page), it looks like this sale will be 2/20 thru 2/23. So much for a slick Vday dinner! Wink

Have them chop up the chicken, put in bag, add buffalo sauce and shake. I like it wet. Before adding chicken to sub I have them remove some of the inside bread. Then add lettuce so that the wet chicken will not get the roll soggy. I like to add chipotle Gouda and sometimes blue cheese crumbs on top.

Sometimes it's nice to do an un-intrusive cheese, something like white american. The flavor of the cheese can kinda clash with the buffalo sauce. Lettuce, white onion, garlic pickles is usually all I get. Don't need much more than that. At the $5.99 price it's by far the best sandwich you can get for that price.
