I was at my local Sam's Club in NH and noticed the Switch Console on sale for $189. I don't follow switch deals that close so I am not sure how good it is. YMMV as with all clearance Sam's Club items.

The advertisement is for SKU 980108404 = original Switch model (v1, white box), which is the one on clearance.

Some Sam's Clubs are apparently selling the new model (v2, red box) at the same clearance price. YMMV.

Most likely you looked at the sticker for the lite version. FYI, I was told by local GameStop employee that Nintendo does not allow the price to go down and would penalize retailer for selling for lower price when I was looking for a deal on Switch about 2 months ago for my son. That's why the only deals on Switch were bundles.
