Features a stretch-mesh upper and boost cushioning. Sizes run a bit small so best to order a size up. - CChoiVA

I can vouch for the no cushion, I've owned and still have a few pairs of NMDs. They aren't comfortable and you can forget about working out or even running in them. To me they are strictly for looks and color schemes.
I have 4 pairs of R1's and I went half a size down from my normal shoe size.

I love my pair of Nomads. For anyone who hasn't tried them, give them a shot. The Boost midsole is great. They fit TTS but they're not as snug as running shoes since they're lifestyle shoes - they're called runners but that's a bit of a stretch.
They also don't really have insoles but it's more of a thin layer (you can see in the photos) between your foot and the Boost. Took a second to realize it was intentionally when I first got them. Heckin comfy and worth it at this price.

I only have 1 pair of nmdr1 its the camo sesame. Thin plastic type mesh upper, no cushioning. More of a casual shoe or light jogging, gym. I probably w9jldnt habe bought it but i like camo print

I'm a sneaker collector and have about 8 pairs of NMD's I don't even wear. They just don't offer much cushioning. I do think they look fantastic. Be careful the mesh can tear easily.

Great buy. If you want something really comfy they have their Ultraboost on sale as well.

How do they fit compared to the ultraboost 19? I wear a 9.5 in ultraboost debating on getting half size larger for the NMDs.

The R2 is a better design than the R1 in terms of functionality, but R1 is definitely a classic sneaker look now that the R2 can't always replicate. i've had my pair of R2's that I wear pretty much every day for the past 2.5 years. they've become beaters now and it's time to get new shoes but i recon i could go another 1.5 years with this shoe if i wanted to. the shoe cleans up nicely and it's definitely a good buy

I have a few NMDs and Ultraboosts and feel NMDs look a lot better with casual clothes.

If you have both and know you'll be standing or walking for a while in a non-athletic environment (concert, amusement park, airport, etc.) I recommend swapping a UB insole into the NMD as the NMD is then IMO more comfortable than UB in every way except only the heel tab.
