"Beware of Product Keys Sold Separately
With the exception of Product Key Cards (PKC's) distributed with COA's, Microsoft does not distribute products keys as standalone products. If you see a listing on an auction site, online classified ad, or other online page advertising product keys for sale, it's a good indication that the keys are likely stolen or counterfeit. If you were to purchase and use a stolen or counterfeit product key to activate Windows installed on your PC, the key may not work for activation, may already be in use on another PC, or it might be blocked from use later by Microsoft when the key is reported stolen. The best way to get everything you expect up front is to buy genuine Microsoft software preinstalled on a new PC or genuine Microsoft software from an authorized reseller."
Google AI: Generally, only computer manufacturers and system builders are authorized to sell Windows OEM product keys, bundled with a new computer. It is against Microsoft's terms of service for anyone to sell OEM keys separately from the original hardware it was intended for, especially online.

We all know that these keys are shady -- there is no way you can get a legitimate key for ~$10 when it sells for $199 retail.
I always think you'd better pirate Windows than waste $10 on a questionable key.

I think many people when they see the word "Genuine" think it's legit without thinking whether it's legal. That was my point with posting, was to let people know that "Genuine" and "OEM" don't make it legit.

"lifetime" is BS, I've had my OEM licenses ended after a handful of reactivations just swapping computer hardware (other than motherboard) around. there are licenses that will, OEM installation keys are not that

Unless you're a company like Dell or HP, even a legit OEM key tends to cost $100+.
Also has Windows for a lot less. They ran out of Windows 11 Pro N (European version w/out the bloatware but can't install if your Motherboard has a key in the BIOS (Dell, HP, etc..)).
