First book in an eight part series, has a 4.3 star rating on Audible and 4.4 on Amazon.
When you "buy" the free Kindle book it allows you to get the Audible version for $1.99, which is a great deal for a highly rated 21 hour audio book!
Publisher Summary:
Sergeant Kendra Pacelli is innocent, but that doesn't matter to the repressive government pursuing her. Mistakes might be made, but they are never acknowledged, especially when billions of embezzled dollars earned from illegal weapons sales are at stake. But where does one run when all Earth and most settled planets are under the aegis of one government? Answer: The Freehold of Grainne. There, one may seek asylum and build a new life in a society that doesn't track its residents every move, which is just what Pacelli has done. But now things are about to go royally to hell. Because Earth's government has found out where she is, and they want her back. Or dead.

If you have Audible credits, you have to get the book there to use the credits.
2) Don't spend a credit on a book you could get for $1.99 without a membership. Everyone has different priorities, but if you get a free credit -- spend it on an expensive book you've wanted for a while, and just let the cheap impulse buy sit until you can spend the $2. To the best of my knowledge Amazon has never changed the price of a narration buy once you get the Kindle version (and this one's free).
What the language like in it? Does it have the F-bomb in it and such?

I mean, it's not "No, John Ringo, no" levels of inappropriateness, but it's certainly R rated. I'd give it to a mature high school senior, but not a freshman.
