This is a solid sale if you like HP Gaming laptops. I only say that because people do have brand loyalty.

The equivalent Dell G5 Gaming Laptop (even during their Presidents day sale) is around $1500-1550. Note that with Dell you can also get some bonuses (maybe a 50off699 and R a k u t e n 10%) that bring it down to $1300 net, but the HP still wins by more than $150 when I compare component to component.

FYI - coupon works with any configuration. Same configuration with 240 screen is $1295. Stick with the 144 and go to a 2060 brings the cost down to $1019.

On cpubenchmark. Processor gpu came at 30 percentile while zame on Lenovo with gtx 1650 was 70 percentile.can anyone comment is my gpu not faulty? I also see wifi keeps disconnecting. Any thoughts on that? And any possibility to get battery upgrade?

My experience with both brands has been significantly different. HP has held up much better than my Dell laptop so far. In no way though I am brand loyal to HP. I personally feel that HP laptops are really not upto the mark in the looks department.

I doubt it, with the coronavirus, it may take awhile to ship this time around. I believe HP drop ship directly from China based on my last Laptop purchase.
