This Laptop has single Ram Slot which is accessible by end users. So, no Dual Channel. Technically you can put up to 32GB single module into hat slot.
The MX150 is the 25W version
The Thunderbolt 3 port in this Laptop physically is 4 lane (40 Gbps) but due to the use of an old Thunderbolt 3 controller, with most TB3 Docks, it works in 2 lane (20 Gbps) Mode.
The Build quality is vey good and it is completely made of Aluminium Alloy.
Out of curiosity
1) Anyone know how many nits this is?
2) In terms of speed would 2 slots of RAM make any difference vs 1 slot? i imagine 2 slots is more convenient to add varying sizes.
3) Assuming it does not support Wifi 6.
4) This is general question. Does i7-8550U make a big difference compared to i5? I know both are quad core. higher clock speed?

Around 280 nits
2 Slots does make difference in performance because then you will be able to run the memory in Dual Channel by populating both the slots, preferably with same capacity and speed modules. Dual Channel mode does increase CPU and integrated Graphics performance.
WiFi 6 was not released when this model was released. However, the WiFi Card is user replaceable; so you can upgrade that.
i7-8550U does not make much of a difference over i5-8250U. But yes, the difference is noticeable. It has 200 MHz higher base clock speed and 600 MHz higher max turbo boost speed over i5.

This is the biggest problem with using Lenovo laptops as Hackintoshes.
It has 45w USB-PD, works well. I bought one of these a little bit ago and I love it. Similar to the new slim thinkpads but with a metal body.
