Which is faster for video editing and other CPU-GPU intensive tasks ?

- the Mac or this 285H 5070 system ?

And they told me a top-specs laptop would need to weigh 6 lbs.

Which is better? HP Omen Transcend 14 or Asus Zephyrus g14 with similar specs?

Typically the g14 because 1) g-helper software makes power and thermals management much easier, and 2) it has more juice to its GPU than the Omen Transcend 14, which last year had only 50+15 boosted watts to the 4060 or 4070.

I saw that this year's Transcend 14 has a 140w USB-C charger, and while that's great for portability and ease of use, it says that once again, HP opted for a lot less than maximum power.

Where did you find info on this years transcend? I can't seem to find this specific model on HP's website.

Not a fan of GPUs with only 8 gb video RAM if intended for gaming

I had last years model and while I loved it, the 60W GPU hurt a lot. This year I believe they bumped the ceiling to 75W so there should be some improvement. I've seen no reviews on this and it's even hard to find on HP's website, so it almost feels like they're trying to hide it. Still, part of me almost wants to try again since now I'm using an eGPU.
